I met someone very special

It happened just 15mins back.
These days i had to travel by Bus in Pune because my new company is quite far-off from the place where i reside . And today was no different . The Bus left me at Pune station from where i have to walk down some distance . As i was waking down , there was this very small kid , who came up to me and started begging with an unusually sweet smile on his face . I was just about to give a smile back because i noticed such an innocence ( as opposed to many small kids begging these days who just go unnoticed ) when i saw the Boy being slapped so hard he fell on the ground . I was so taken aback and confused that without noticing anything , went to pick up the Boy , when i realized that he didn't have his right hand, but it was so neatly tucked into the Shirt he was wearing it was difficult to notice . Then i saw this lady( i must say this , i haven't seen such a beautiful lady clad in a tattered saree) quickly snatching the Boy from my hands , and was about to go ahead when i called from the back . The Lady turned back and i could see tears in her eyes , but they were rolling down so slowly. She apolozised to me for her son's behaviour and was walking ahead again , when , out of all curiosity i had to ask her , why did she beat the little fellow , and she smiled , and said , that she has told him so many not to lay his hands before anyone . Now i could realize almost everything, but her story was what i wanted to know.
And she obliged by telling me that this was probably not her condition 5yrs back , when she had everything to her , a very well to-do family where she enjoyed most of her time . But then her husband passed away in an accident, and her very small baby lost his right arm , and the left one was severely paralyzed , but then she along with her kid remained to see the evil side of the family who disgraced her blaming her for everythihng and throwing her out of the house . From her words i could make out that there was a strong Urdu accent , and after this incident , she is today working in construction Site, only barely to meet her and her kids ends meet. I know this was what we have seen in several films and several stories, but this happened right in front of my eyes. She went on to tell me why did his sons' arms have become unusable . I was dumbstruck and offered to help as far as i can . She just gave me a smile and started walking ahead . And i don't know from where in my silly mind it crept that i have understood this situation and i went on to give her my mobile no, at least if somedays later. She took it and went ahead , and i , dumbfounded , turned back , but after some time i looked back only to see that lady tearing that paper which i had given and throwing it away.
Hasn't GOD been generous enough to provide us with 2 hands and 2 feet , all our body parts , all our senses ? Hasn't the almighty given you enough ?

LIFE is the GREATEST TEACHER

Yes, it is. And I couldn’t have learnt from it in the Past few months. I won’t be writing all about it, but I would request people reading this article to learn whatever Life has to Offer, looking out for little things which might help you become a Better Person later in Life. You know a Process called GROWING UP and becoming MATURE. Now this looks like a Sadist writing his heart out. No, it won’t be. I am still the same Person, with his ubiquitous line, “TENSION NAHIN LENE KA, BINDAAS RAHNE KA”.
And why hadn’t I been writing. It was because I was caught up in a Lot of things. Though I seldom use it as an excuse, but from the Last time I wrote something, I have done a lot of things.
Work took me to Manila in Philippines. An absolutely amazing place with it’s exciting Beaches, locales. It was my First Trip to this Country, for that matter, the First to a South-East Asian Country and I got a chance to mix with people of different culture, different ethnicity . I loved it all. Made lots of Friends, and I must say I totally loved my Stay there. One more considerable achievement was to learn the Work Culture there. Philippines got it’s independence from the US in quite the same time as India, but still it has the US Culture built in them. And I could understand why people going to the US seldom come back. Why is there a “Brain Drain”? I guess it has nothing to do with anything else other than the Work Culture. It is really exciting and suits many a people. But then again , but for the Work Culture , I think there is nothing Exciting about going ONSITE ( as the S/W Geeks would put it ).
I was so happy coming back to India after a long time to “MY OWN PEOPLE”. I got a vacation for quite some time where I enjoyed my Time with my Family. It was after a long time I was meeting them but then the wait was worth it’s weight in GOLD. I could attend the DURGA PUJA, the Biggest Festival for Bengalis.
And after returning back to my Workplace in India, Pune, I was again sucked into a lot of Work. But in midst of this, I could pursue many things. I did a lot of Photography which has become my Latest Craze. I was doing my Stamp and Coin Collection, my favorite hobby. I was stacking up a lot of Movies in my HDD and Laptop. Hey, I forgot to tell , I got a Brand New DELL just a couple of months . I was learning to use the whole lot of feature WINDOWS VISTA had to Offer. I was revving up my PULSAR 150 to speeds of 100km/hr. I got a chance to ride my BIKE after a long time and am thoroughly enjoying it. And finally, I was looking for a JOB Change, which I could successfully achieve as well. I made a lot of friends at my Workplace. There were lots of young people coming to our Company and I was lucky enough to be introduced to most of them, at a time when I am about to call it a Day at the Present Company.
I also started a Bad habit, because in midst of all the good things I have written in the paragraph above, it cannot be all hunky-dory. I have started drinking a lot. Am trying to let go off it, and I am sure will achieve that soon.
It’s difficult to sum up a whole year in One’s Life in a few sentences, but then this is the Best I could have done. I think that from now on I would be writing regularly, so that my readers do not have to go through this Torture every time 
Though the whole write-up had nothing to do with the Subject Line , but as told i wanted to jusst give a message , rest is "what i had been all these years?"
Till next time, Ciao.
